Effective ‘Now’ Prayers Your desperate, invisible
adversary wants to prevent you from accessing the freedom Jesus has bought
back for you. Each of us are made for relationship with God. God is a real person who
has a real name. God’s name is “Yahweh” יאהו (pronounced “Yehovah”). God’s name is personal,
unchanging, eternal, and heavenly. He graciously revealed it to us as early
as Genesis 2:7-19 when He, as a personal God, made man, “Adam.” A personal
God created a personal man. What for? For personal fellowship between the
two. Ephesians 6:11-17 instructs, “Put on the whole armor of God, that you
may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle
against flesh and blood, but…against unseen evil spirit forces. Therefore take up the whole armor of God…and the sword of the Spirit,
which is the word of God” Please be strongly encouraged to pray aloud any or all of the following prayers, as
needed, with or without meals. Voice them with all the heart and authority you
can—aloud so that your soul and your enemy hears them: “As it is written, Father God, Yehovah, my destiny is in Your hands.
The accuser who is the destroyer and that serpent of old is trying his
weapons against me. Yet I am Your
child, and the satan was a murderer from the
beginning (John 8:44). Though he accuses me, I will not fear him or his words
because You are my Father and Jesus Christ's Blood has cleansed me from all
unrighteousness nullifying the accuser's allegations. This destroyer was deceivingly
convincing with Eve and with Adam, but his tongue is unholy, he is arrogant
and fraudulent. Your Truth—Father God, Yehovah—stands on my behalf. Your
Spirit of Truth is Your gift to me, and therefore Truth abides in me. The
vessel of Your Word has brought Your Blood covered Light unto
me. It is the Blood of the Son, the Blood of the Sacrifice of Christ Jesus
that silences every accusation in Your presence (Heb. 12:24). I am
pardoned—acquitted and made right—by the Blood of Christ Jesus, who is my
Savior, now and forever!” IF your enemy’s accusations happen to be true, then pray the following
aloud: “As it is written, ‘if I do sin, I have an advocate who pleads my case
before the Father. He is Christ Jesus, the one who is truly righteous. He
himself is the sacrifice that atones for my sins—and not only my sins but the
sins of all the world! Thank you, Christ Jesus, for pleading my case—I am
acquitted and made right by Your perfect blood sacrifice at Calvery.” (1 John 2:1-2) “And as it is written, If I live in the light, as God is in the light,
then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, His Son,
cleanses me from all sin. Father God, I confess to you my agreement with ____
(sin(s), e.g., unforgiveness). And if I confess my sins to Father God, He is
faithful and just to forgive me my sins and to cleanse me from all
wickedness, as it is written at 1 John 1:7-9. I am now pardoned—acquitted and
made right—by the Blood of Jesus Christ, who is my Savior, now and forever!” "As it is written, ‘I sing to Yehovah,
the Holy One! I shout joyfully to the Rock of my salvation. I come to You
with thanksgiving. I sing psalms of praise to You. For You, the Lord is a
great God, a great King above all gods. You hold in Your hands the depths of
the earth and the mightiest mountains. The sea belongs to You, for You made
it. Your hands formed the dry land, too. I worship and bow down. I kneel
before the Lord my maker, for You are my God. I am one You watch over, part
of the flock under Your care!’"
(Psalm 95:1-7) "As it is written, ‘Your [Yehovah's] kingdom is an everlasting
kingdom, and your dominion endures throughout all generations. [The Lord is
faithful in all his words and kind in all his works.] The Lord upholds all
who are falling and raises up all who are bowed down. The eyes of all look to You, and You give them
their food in due season. You open your hand; you satisfy the desire of every
living thing.’" (Psalm
145:13-16) "As it is written, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One
of Israel, says: “Only in returning to You and resting in You will I be
saved. In quietness and confidence is my strength. I do return to You, rest
in You, and I am saved!’” (Isaiah
30:15) "As it is written, ‘I live in the shelter
of the Most High. I enjoy rest
in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about Yehovah: He alone is my
refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him. For he rescues me
from every trap and protects me from deadly disease. He covers me with his
feathers. He shelters me with his wings. His faithful promises are my armor
and protection. “I am not afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies
in the day. I do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the
disaster that strikes at midday. Though a thousand fall at your side, though
ten thousand are dying around me, these evils do not touch me. I see how the
wicked are punished. “I make the Yehovah my refuge, I make the Most High
my shelter, no evil conquers me; no plague comes near my home. For he orders his angels to protect me
wherever I go. They hold me up with their hands so I
won't even hurt my foot on a stone. “Yehovah tramples upon lions and cobras; He crushes fierce lions and
serpents under my feet! Yehovah says, ‘I rescue
those who love me. I protect those who trust in my name. When they call on
me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor
them. I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation.’ I love
my heavenly Father with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength. I trust in
His name. I call on Yehovah, my heavenly Father. He rescues and honors me. He rewards me with a long life and gives me my salvation!“ (Psalm
91) "As it is written, ‘O Yehovah, I have so
many enemies; so many are against me. So many are saying Yehovah will never
rescue me! But you, O Yehovah, are a shield around me; you are my glory, the one
who holds my head high. I cried out to Yehovah, and he answered me from his holy mountain. I
lay down and slept, yet I woke up in safety, for Yehovah watches over
me. I am not afraid of ten thousand enemies who surround me on every side. Arise, O Yehovah! Rescue me, Yehovah! Slap all my enemies in the face!
Shatter the teeth of the wicked! Victory comes from you, O Yehovah. You bless me, as one of your
people!’” (Psalm 3) "As it is written, ‘Yehovah has called me
back, saying, ‘You are my servant.’ For He has chosen me and will not throw
me away. I am not afraid, for Yehovah is with me. I am not discouraged, for
Yehovah is my God. He strengthens me and helps me. He holds me up with His
victorious right hand. See, all my angry enemies lie there, confused and
humiliated. Those who oppose me…come to nothing. I look in vain for those who
try to conquer me. Those who attack me come to nothing. For He holds me by my
right hand—the Lord my God. He says to me, ‘Don’t be afraid.
I AM here to help you. I AM the Lord, your Redeemer. I AM the Holy One of
Israel. I AM a new threshing instrument with many sharp teeth. I tear my
enemies apart, making chaff of mountains. I toss them into the air, and the wind and blows them all away; a whirlwind scatters them.’
I rejoice in the Lord. I glory in the Holy One of Israel!" (Isaiah 41:9-16) "As it is written, I rejoice aloud of the Father God, Yehovah’s
unfailing love forever! Young and old hear of Your faithfulness. Your
unfailing love lasts forever. Your faithfulness is as enduring as the
heavens. “Father God, Yehovah, said, ‘I have made a covenant with David, my
chosen servant. I have sworn this oath to him: ‘I will establish your
descendants as kings forever; they will sit on your throne from now until eternity.’” “All heaven will praise Your great wonders, Father God, Yehovah;
myriads of angels praise you for your faithfulness. For who
in all of heaven can compare with the You? What mightiest angel is anything
like the You? The highest angelic powers stand in awe of Father God—Jehovah. “He is far more awesome than all who surround his throne. O LORD God of
Heaven’s Armies! Where is there anyone as mighty as you, O LORD? You are
entirely faithful. You rule the oceans. You subdue their storm-tossed waves.
You crush the great sea monster. You scatter your enemies with your mighty
arm. “The heavens are yours, and the earth is yours; everything in the world
is yours—You created it all. You created north and south. Mount Tabor and
Mount Hermon praise Your name. Powerful is your arm! Strong is your hand!
Your right hand is lifted high in glorious strength. “Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne. Unfailing
love and truth walk before You as attendants. Happy are those who hear the
joyful call to worship, for they will walk in the light of your presence,
Father God, Yehovah. They rejoice all day long in your wonderful reputation.
They exult in your righteousness. You are their glorious strength. It pleases
you to make me strong. Yes, my protection comes from Father God, Yehovah, and
He, the Holy One of Israel, has given me my King. “Long ago you spoke in a vision to your faithful people. You said, ‘I
have raised up a warrior. I have selected him from
the common people to be king. I have found my servant David. I have anointed
him with my holy oil. I will steady him with my hand; with my powerful arm I
will make him strong. His enemies will not defeat him, nor will the wicked
overpower him. I will beat down his adversaries before him and destroy those
who hate him. “My faithfulness and unfailing love will be with him, and by my
authority he will grow in power. I will extend his rule over the sea, his
dominion over the rivers. And he will call out to me, ‘You are my Father, my
God, and the Rock of my salvation.’ I will make him my firstborn son, the
mightiest king on earth. I will love him and be kind to him forever; my
covenant with him will never end. I will preserve an heir for him; his throne
will be as endless as the days of heaven! “…I will never stop loving him nor fail to keep my promise to him. No,
I will not break my covenant; I will not take back a single word I said. I
have sworn an oath to David, and in my holiness I
cannot lie: his dynasty will go on forever; his kingdom will endure as the sun. It will be as eternal as the moon, my faithful
witness in the sky!” “And now Christ Jesus, my High Priest, has been given a ministry that
is far superior to any other, for He is the one who mediates for me a far
better covenant with Father God, Yehovah, based on even better promises!” (Psalms 89:1-37; Hebrews 8:6) Mark 11:25, 26 is
one of many passages that warn us about our agreement with resentment or
unforgiveness. Jesus: “And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything
against anyone, forgive them, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you
your trespasses. But if
you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.”
